At least it was only gatorade.

Was shocked with my second daughter when they allowed me juice, all the water I could drink, and popsicles! Until later that night when I felt like I was going to puke. I made my dh go get a nurse and it was my ob that came running in with the basin, lol. I was only nauseated that time though, no vomiting.A Lupie Mommahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06618715500094103713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8568619474449091271.post-40202698790136591652008-07-19T01:32:00.000-05:002008-07-19T01:32:00.000-05:00hmm so cute ! i love the small children , but the ...hmm so cute ! i love the small children , but the thing is iam afraid of taking them into my hands.....Nurse JobUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02749041666436628215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8568619474449091271.post-84490128160623967402008-07-16T16:14:00.000-05:002008-07-16T16:14:00.000-05:00UGh, I'm with you, sputum is the worse stuff ever....UGh, I'm with you, sputum is the worse stuff ever. I can't tell you many times I've been splashed with amniotic fluid at deliveriess. Which is now why I try to ALWAYS wear a yellow fluid impermeable gown at births. Unless they precip....and I'm catching the baby with one bare hand and one gloved hand. I think I just might start wearing two gloves when checking a cervix from now on.AtYourCervixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08238926588944507794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8568619474449091271.post-55372659227709152042008-07-16T07:24:00.000-05:002008-07-16T07:24:00.000-05:00LOL ewwwwww I'm with ya girl!! Our patients all go NPO except for ice chips once they're admitted usually. Sometimes the "nice" doc's let them have clear liquids until pit is started. But then there are those that push the ticket. I found one woman once eating a huge dinner from Applebee's. This was at 11pm!! And she was a foley bulb induction. Whew I'm glad I wasn't on when the nausea hit her LOL.

I had my fist Mec hit the other day and I was standing at the side! lolJodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01952575006952554649noreply@blogger.com
